Red Star Belgrade are the most successful team in Serbian football history with 25 titles and 24 national cups but their fierce rivals Partizan Belgrade have been more successful in the current format the Serbian SuperLiga. Many people don't know why Red Star Belgrade have 2 gold stars on their badge, I didn't know until I began this post. Each star actually stands for 10 Serbian league titles and in 2000 when they won their 20th title, another star was added to the badge. Red Star have an alright record in Europe considering they're not a side with the worlds best like Ronaldo and Messi (and Chiriches) They won the European cup in 1991 and later that year, beat Colo-Colo of Chile to win the now abolished Intercontinental Cup.
I never thought I'd be able to get hold of one of these shirts, they're so expensive on eBay and in the few stores they are sold in (really not many) But Unisport saved the day again. The neck hole is tiny, the shirt fits but Serbians must just have small heads or something. Igraji Bori se means ''Welcome To Hellgrade'' in Serbian which is probably the coolest slogan I've ever come across.
