It's here! Most have heard of Djurgardens but they probably wouldn't spring to mind if you were asked to name a Swedish team. They are a mid-table side in Sweden and have won the Allsvenskan 5 times. They were founded in a cafe in 1891 and started playing at a football field on Djurgarden in 1896. The Stockholm Stadion was built for the 1912 summer olympics and became their home stadium in 1936. Teddy Sheringham had a brief spell at Djurgardens in 1985. The 2000s were the clubs golden era with three league titles and three cup wins between 2002 and 2005. This era came to an end in 2006 when they finished 6th. They got 3rd place in 2007 but it has gone downhill since then, they ended up in 14th place in 2009 and luckily won a relegation play-off against Assyriska Foreningen.
This is the cheapest shirt in my collection (if you don't count the delivery cost) It was around £3 something.
